Welcome to our online engagement tool for the Pahurehure Inlet, Manukau North and Manukau East Shoreline Adaptation Plans. 

As part of these three projects, we're trying to understand how the respective local community uses and values coastal spaces and the amenities that support them. Community consultation for each of these projects will run in parallel from the 23 June-7 August 2023. 

Please start by answering our 'About You' questions so we can learn a bit more about who is interested in these areas.

You can then take part in the discussion by:

1. Completing our primary project survey "what do you value about the coast" by clicking the 'what do you value about the coast survey' tab on the left hand side of the screen. 
2. Dragging and dropping a 'pin' from the top of the screen to a location on the map and writing a comment in the comment box that appears. Remember to zoom in to your area of interest before dropping a pin, this will help make sure it lands in the right place. 
3. Tell us which beaches, parks and coastal accessways you visit and value by clicking the respective survey tabs on the left hand side of the screen. 

You can also read and comment on previous pins by clicking on the activity button on the sidebar.
