Public engagement for the Kahawairahi ki Whakatīwai | Beachlands and East Shoreline Adaptation Plan closed in February 2022. Feedback from community consultation has been used to inform the selection of adaptation strategies via the development of community objectives. 

The final report  was endorsed by the Franklin Local Board in August 2022 and approved by Parks, Environment and Parks Commitee in March 2023 and is now available on Ak Have Your Say
